Moments in my life Kimono Style Robe

I created the 'Moments in my life' kimono using scrap fabric from a previous project and a series of stamps I hand-carved. Each stamp represents an album that had a significant impact on my life; the kimono represents the soundtracks to defining moments in my history, telling parts of my story through sound and symbolism that is deeply personal, yet, encoded to be impossible to define without my help. The coy nature of this piece is a physical representation both of my own personality and some of the moments that made me who I am.
